XMAS CARDS

In the pages on the left can be found idea images for use as Christmas/New Year Greeting cards. They are divided into their relevant areas.

Each card when folded in half to make the greeting card measures 216mm x 152mm. The face of the greeting card has an image 203mm x 138mm. Inside has one of the greeting messages selected in black print as shown. The picture on the front can have 'Greetings from Poole' (as an example) printed in on it.

This card is of special interest as a Christmas card. The photograph was taken at Christmas 1926 at Southsea, Portsmouth.

This was the last year that McCreary's Store put on such a display. Today what with health and safety, hygiene and political correctness this will never be seen again. Note how many people worked at the store and the young boys who would be sent up the ladders to pick the selected meat.
